We had a long day at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake, but we had a great time. We are pleased with our 4th place varsity finish. First place: Wayzata varsity 1 squad 461 birds; 2nd place Wayzata varsity 2 with 456; 3rd place Minnetonka varsity 1 with 452; 4th was Elk River varsity 1 with 444.
Tyler Meyers was tied for the JV top gun category with a 91 and had to compete in a "sudden death" shoot off. The first to miss was out.
For the first year competing with this league, we are very pleased with the results. The team members had fun, improved every week and enjoyed the day. We are looking forward to next season already. See the team picture. |
